Anatomy of Stanmore

Finding Inspiration in Architecture

In this series I examine suburbia as an architecture of memory. Through façades, street lines and domestic silhouettes, the series charts the psychological and cultural imprint of Stanmore -foregrounding the role of the built environment in shaping identity. The works emerge from my time living at 64 Cambridge Street during the pandemic, revealing how place becomes archive, refuge and witness.
